Hybrid Implant Dentures

If you are familiar with a traditional denture, then I'm sure you are aware of the disadvantages that come along with wearing one.  They can be uncomfortable, hard to keep clean, cause pain, and even slip out.  There are many different options in the restorative process depending on your particular oral situation.  If teeth can be saved many go the route of crowns or veneers but if they can't be saved and you need full extractions then an implant hybrid denture is the most comfortable and natural looking option for treatment.

Traditional dentures come in and out of your mouth while implant hybrid dentures are implant supported teeth that are integrated into the bone with surgical steel implants.  They can be taken out for cleaning purposes typically once a year by your dentist and hygienist with special tools to unscrew the hybrid denture from the implant posts.

We use Precise Implants Capture technology along with our dental lab and periodontist to create an accurate bite and correct positioning of implants.  There is a healing process involved, as well as a temporary phase of hybrid dentures along the way to your final implant hybrid denture and lifelong smile.  Please call us with any questions about this process and we would be happy to help.
