Fall in Love With Your Smile This February

Glynna

February is often associated with love - but the most meaningful love story is the one you have with yourself. Feeling confident in your smile can change how you show up in the world, and at First Impression Dental, we believe prioritizing your oral health is one of the most powerful acts of self-care.

This month, we're highlighting a real patient transformation that perfectly captures what it means to take a leap of faith and invest in yourself.

A Leap of Faith Toward a Healthier Smile

Our patient had never truly loved her smile. Like many people, she knew something felt off, but she didn't know what to do or where to begin. What she did know was that she wanted healthy, stable teeth and a smile that felt confident and functional.

After years of putting herself last, she decided it was time to prioritize herself - and took a leap of faith by trusting our team at First Impression Dental to guide her through the process.

A Thoughtfully Planned, Comprehensive Treatment Approach

Her journey began with SureSmile clear aligners, which allowed us to improve her overall occlusion and function while carefully planning for her final cosmetic results. Orthodontic treatment also helped us create ideal spacing for her future veneers, allowing for minimal removal of natural tooth structure.

When asked about her experience with SureSmile, she simply said: "The process was amazing."

Once orthodontic treatment was complete, she moved forward with our take-home whitening process, brightening her smile and creating the perfect foundation for her final restorations.

The final step was the placement of four anterior veneers, custom-designed in collaboration with our master ceramist. Every detail - from shape and proportion to shade and translucency - was thoughtfully crafted to complement her natural features and create a smile that felt beautiful, balanced, and authentic.

Before & After: A Confident New Smile

From orthodontic planning to custom-designed veneers, this transformation was thoughtfully planned over time. The result is a smile that looks natural, functions beautifully, and reflects the confidence she feels today.

A Transformation That Took Time - and Was Worth Every Step

From her initial orthodontic scans in May 2023 to the completion of her veneers in January 2025, this transformation was intentional and carefully planned. It wasn't rushed - it was centered on long-term health, stability, and results that would last.

When she saw her final smile, her reaction said it all: "I'm so excited about my new smile. "

More Than Just a Smile

This transformation wasn't just about straighter or brighter teeth -  it was about confidence, self-love, and finally feeling comfortable in her own smile.

In her own words: "I feel confident, I feel happy, I feel pretty. I am so grateful to Dr. Lent and First Impression Dental."

Stories like this are why we do what we do.
